Is there any alternate way to verify MQ client 6.0 installation on linux is successful or not without creating QM and server connection channel ? |

dspmqver command display only version of MQ.How do you know it is installed succesfully? |

well, if I have not faced any installation error.... error logs are clean and mq version is displayed correctly.. then i presume client installtion to be perfect .. _________________ Cheers |

In most installations that are not successful (my experience here is windows client) when you try to run the dspmqver command, instead of the clean version information that we are used to, you receive some weird stuff in return. Could even go as far as to ask for the command to be run in the detailed information mode (see dspmqver -?)....
The bottom line still is, that if you cannot retrieve the version information running the dspmqver command without arguments the client / server is not installed correctly. Installation needs to be redone...
