Hi All,

We have been facing problem while trying to connect and access oracle database tables via the broker.
We see the following exception while debugging:-
--------------------------------
DatabaseException
File = /build/S600_P/src/DataFlowEngine/ImbOdbc.cpp
Line = 227
Function = ImbOdbcHandle::checkRcInner
Type =
Name =
Label =
Catalog = BIPv600
Severity = 3
Number = 2321
Text = Root SQL exception
Insert
Type = 2
Text = -1
DatabaseException
File = /build/S600_P/src/DataFlowEngine/ImbOdbc.cpp
Line = 355
Function = ImbOdbcHandle::checkRcInner
Type =
Name =
Label =
Catalog = BIPv600
Severity = 3
Number = 2322
Text = Child SQL exception
Insert
Type = 5
Text = HY000
Insert
Type = 2
Text = 28273
Insert
Type = 5
Text = [DataDirect][ODBC Oracle driver][Oracle]ORA-28273: No mapping for user nickname to LDAP distinguished name exists.
-------------------------------

I believe this issue has got something to do with the access permission for the broker to the oracle database tables.

Has anybody come across this before. If so, then please let me know the reason behind this.

I am in a customer domain and I am just using the DSN provided by them directly.

Is there anything that I can suggest them to look into thier LDAP server or Broker server for this matter?

This is an Oracle specific issue, having to do with whatever ID you have given to mqsisetdbparms.

You need to involve the Oracle DBA.
