Hi,
Does anyone know what should I use to monitor a WMQ cluster? The cluster contains 2 QMGRs and added stream queues and control queues to handle publish and subscribe.
In WMB, we can use Configuration Manager (CMGR), but in WMQB, I don't know what to use.
Thanks |

Don't monitor the cluster, it doesn't exist
Monitor the member queue managers; the Monitoring MQ manual will give you some pointers. Commercial products are also available. Don't get too hung up on the pub/sub, which is just extra queues like any other application.
I'd also question if Config Mgr is the best way of monitoring WMB. Controlling it yes, but monitoring to ensure smooth running? I have doubts. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
