Hi , I have two different systems and the configuratios are same ie WMQ V6.0 and Solaries9.
But I am able to run all the commands on one system ie dspmq, runmqsc.
but when I try to run the commands on the other system ,
dspmq is able to run and I get the out put, but when I run " runmqsc" it gives an error as "cannot execute"
When I checked the permissions on both the systems for runmqsc on solaris in the path /opt/mqm/bin it was same.
Can any body help me as I am not able to check the status of the queues, channels etc.

Check group membership of your userid....

Thanks saper, when I checked with the command "groups" I found that my user id does not contain the group "mqm".
Also when I checked the /etc/group file I found that the group mqm doesnot contain my user id.
But I have I more question : before 20 days all was working and also there was no changes done for anything on the system. Can you please tell what can be the reason that my user id was removed from this group

Security and paranoia if you are the MQ admin....
Otherwise leave the tasks you wanted to do to the MQ admin you want him to help you, you don't want to do his job.
