It is easy to find what is the minimum version of MQ that must be installed to support WMB, but what is the maximum version? Is there a page / document that lists this?

Or can you just always install the latest version with latest fixpack and it will work?

Thank you

THAT page clearly indicates the following:

WebSphere MQ

* IBM WebSphere MQ Solaris x86-64 platform 6.0.1.1

But, newer versions are available.... how do I know that WMB was tested with MQ V 6.0.2.5 ?

I can't find that information anywhere....maybe I'm just not a good website searcher or navigator....

ok point taken, the 6.1 page only says

IBM WebSphere MQ for Solaris x86-64, V6.0 [see section note 1]
Notes:
WebSphere MQ V6.0.1.0 or later is required for globally coordinated transaction support (‘XA’).

so my guess is you are looking at the 6.0 page.

Since you are looking for support, only IBM can answer that question and
you can ask the support line?

Well, WMB (on Sun Solaris runs here with MQ V 6.0.2.5

Versions 7, as stated above, does not work.

Thanks for the response. But in the last week, on a different platform and different software, IBM recommended to me to use 6.0.2.2 although 6.0.2.5 is already out... so I asked them why, but no answer so far.
