Hi ,
Iam working with WMB 6.1 version . I have an issue as to when to use the TryCatch Node.
My flow is HttpInput --> Compute1-->MqOutput -->Compute2 --> HttpReply
I have an error in my Compute2, whose failure terminal has not been connected . I tried placing a trycatch node before my Compute2 .
I connected the catch terminal of my TryCatch node to ErrorHandling flow which looks something like this
TryCatchNode(Catch) ---> Trace --> Compute3 ---> HttpReply .
* I didnt find the the log in the Trace file .
* In general , how is the error, that is raised in the Compute handled if its failure terminal is not connected .
Can somebody help me in finding out where iam going wrong .
Any help is greatly appreciated . |

Hi sivaguru,
Please give details on what at you have coded in the Trace node, including file path etc.
Are you absolutely sure that your control is even going to the catch path during testing ?
Regards. |

I strongly recommend that you take a user trace. It is a very useful tool, and should get used more for this sort of diagnosis. |
