We are getting the following errors in job AMQRMPPA. I read the other post that has the same issue, but the failure type is not the same as in the posts from Feb and June.
I'm on an iSeries and we have a connection to a windows based server. Both machines are on MQ version 6.0.2.3.
If you need any more information, than the following, please let me know. I can provide more information on the AMQ9504 error from the FDC if necessary.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Mark
Message . . . . : A protocol error was detected for channel ''.
Cause . . . . . : During communications with the remote queue manager, the
channel program detected a protocol error. The failure type was 0 with
associated data of 0.
Recovery . . . : Contact the systems administrator who should examine the
error logs to determine the cause of the failure.
In the job, I notice that we also receive the following error 1 second before the AMQ9504 so I'm guessing they are related.
Additional Message Information
Message ID . . . . . . : CPD000D Severity . . . . . . . : 30
Message type . . . . . : Information
Date sent . . . . . . : 09/17/08 Time sent . . . . . . : 23:45:11
Message . . . . : Command QSYS/DSPJOBLOG not safe for a multithreaded job.
Cause . . . . . : The current job is multithreaded, and command
QSYS/DSPJOBLOG cannot be used safely in a multithreaded job. Action 2 will
be taken. Possible actions are:
2 -- Processing of the command will continue.
3 -- This message will be followed by escape message CPF0001. Command
processing will end.
Recovery . . . : Do not attempt to run the command in a multithreaded job. |

jeevan,
Thanks for the link. When I googled, I did not see that entry. I'll have to check with the group that controls the windows server to see if they have any error information that matches up with the error that the iSeries receives.
Thanks again for the link.
