Hi folks,
Back again with some more questions...Is there any way I could create a queue manager, queue and channels using Java API programmatically?
Or its purely going to be command based/explorer based??
Thanks,

QueueManager would be hard to do using the MQ Java API as it needs to be there before you can connect to it
To Create Queues and Channels you need the proper authority and lookup on PCF commands (there is an extensive manual about it) _________________ Michael

There is a support pack that provides some abstraction over the PCF messages, I think it is called MQ admin support classes or something like that. It helps you build and parse PCF messages.
The only way to create a queue manager is from the command line.
It's a real shame that there is more extensive support for MQ admin on the windows platform with the powershell scripting than there is for java which could be run across all platforms - oh well.. |
