| I get the following error when tring to run saveqmgrc.exe to install the suport pack ms03:THE APPLICATION HAS FAILED TO START BECAUSE AMQZSAIC.DLL WAS NOT FOUND.RE-INSTALLING THE APPLICATION MAY FIX THIS PROBLEM. how can this be resolved? |

was the MQ Client properly installed on the machine where you try to run saveqmgrc.exe ?

is there a AMQZSAIC.DLL on the system at all?

I'm not sure what you mean by this - the support pack is not 'installable', and the exe above is not a Windows installer package.

Once you have unzipped ms03_win.zip, you have installed Saveqmgr.
Saveqmgr is dependant on an install of WebSphere MQ at version 5.3 or later. This install must be either a Server install or a Client install. This will show up in 'Add/Remove programs' if it has been installed. |

run from the OS prompt: dspmqver
you should be getting an answer like this:
C:\Program Files\IBM\MO71>dspmqver
Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 6.0.1.0
CMVC level: p600-100-051021
BuildType: IKAP - (Production)
If you get any other type of answer your installation is no good.
Note for a client install this is sufficient. For a server install you should be moving to the last fix pack.
