Hi
I was trying MS03 (saveqmgrc) from a windows machine to a V6.0 z/OS Qmgr.
But it doesn't work. I am getting "Got bad PCF response message":
C:\Temp1\Support Packs\ms03>saveqmgrc -m QA03 -a qa03.csintra.net(1453) -x CLIENT01 -f -o -i
SAVEQMGR V6.1.0
Compiled for Websphere MQ V7.0 on Jul 24 2008
Using the server connection channel "CLIENT01"
on connection name "qa03.csintra.net(1453)".

Authinfo maybe? Check MQS.SCSQCOBC(CMQCFV) for the numeric values, it may give you a gues..... _________________ Regards, Butcher |

Hi, please contact me by email - the address is in the read.me.
PCF Reason Code 3200 is "MQRCCF_NONE_FOUND", and Command 83 is MQCMD_INQUIRE_AUTH_INFO, so there are absolutely no AUTHINFO objects of any kind defined on your queue manager, including the SYSTEM default object.
I thought I had put code in to "skip" this error, and not abort processing. I guess I haven't, though. |

The new relase 6.1.1 of MS03 works fine now even if there are no AUTHINFO objects defined at all.
Thank you very much. |
