I need to capture all the data ( reply and request queues) sent between the client and the MQ server. The MQ server is on a Sun Solaris Unix Box (2.6) and crashes frequently. I need some simple utility running on the Sun Box which captures data between the Server and Client. Unfortunately, there is no MQ administrator and I am an application developer. Can you please help me with simple utilities for an NT box as well as the Unix both to monitor MQ data and write to a text file..This will be useful to figure what exactly is going on?
We offer a soltuion called QN-StatWatch which is a web-based soltuion that gathers MQ related statistics. QN-StatWatch can create a message audit trail from data passed between MQClient and MQServer over a client channel. For more information on QN-StatWatch go to:

asajnani,
When you say "crashes frequently", are you referring to your MQ application or the MQ server?? If the latter, make sure you have the most recent MQ APARs (CSDs) applied to the box. You can find them at
http://www-3.ibm.com/software/ts/mqseries/support/fixes/
If it is the MQ application crashing then you may want someone (with MQ coding experience) to have a look / review the application's code.
