Hi all ,
I noticed that a setmqaut command is needed for both types of queues whereas in previous release of MQseries (V5 .3 ) only one command was needed such as :
setmqaut -m Qmgr -n Qalias -t q -g Groupname + put
automatically the corresponding local inherited of that privilege
but with version 6.0 I need to perform 2 commands , one for the Alias and one for it corresponding local .
Maybe MQS V 6 is more restrictive or OS problem ?
I am running MQS V6 on UNIX HP itanium

The first object named in the MQOPEN is the one that is checked for authorization. Thus, if that name MQOPENed is a QAlias, the target queue name is not checked. This allows for different security (and put/get inhibited) for each alias of the same target queue _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
