Hi Guys,
I am trying to create a Domain using the Broker toolkit V6 (all the latest fixpacks)
But when it tries and connect to the Config Manager, I get the following error:
BIP0889E An exception occured while communicating with the config manager on <Queue Manager Name>
I am running this on Vista and the database I am using is DB2 V9 EXPRESS -C
Any help would be appreciated.

Neither WMQ nor WMB are supported on Vista, as you discovered here

Neither WMQ nor WMB are supported on Vista, as you discovered here |
I have managed to get WMQ running on vista with no issues so far.
Created queue managers, queues, channels etc etc and it works fine.
There seems to be some issues with WMB.
Do you know if WMQ 7 will be supported on Vista?? |

Like it's running on an unsupported platform. I feel compeled to point out that, even if WMQ appears to be working, it's still not a supported configuration and if you get problems you could be stuck to some degree.

I don't work for IBM and have no knowledge of their plans. Someone who does both will undoubtably be along in a minute.
