Hello,
I have MQ Binding export in my Process Server process which listens on a MQ queue. When a message is put into this queue, MDB doesn't pick it up instantly. A delay of around 4-5 seconds is observed between putting the message and it being picked up my MDB.
Is there any configuration which will reduce rather eliminate this delay?
Thanks in advance _________________ Thanks and Regards

How do you know the message is committed? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

External application puts the message into queue. Also I have a loopback in the application. Where the business process triggers itself by putting a message in MQ queue. _________________ Thanks and Regards

My point is - you're sure that the 4-5 second delay is between "when the message is available for GET" and "when the MDB retrieves the message"...
And not, for example "when the sending application *logs* that it did the put" and "when the MDB retrieves the message". Because it could take that 4-5 seconds for the sending application to COMMIT the message. Or the clock on the sending system could be off by 4-5 seconds or etc. etc. etc...
Other than that, yes, there are some "polling" kinds of intervals on the QCF - but I don't remember what they are off the top of my head. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
