Hi,
I create a CLNT channel on my server but it is not reflected in the TAB file properly.
Hence,I deleted the channel using this command
"delete channel(channelname) CHLTABLE(CLNTTBL)"
And created the channel again. But still no luck.
From client it is generating "MQRC_Q_MGR_NAME_ERROR".
Could you please suggest and help me out what could be the reason ?
Did I deleted the channel in wrong way ?
Regards,
Alam |

You have not set the env vars MQCHLLIB and MQCHLTAB properly, or are not using the client channel table that the env vars do point to. _________________ MQSeries.net helps those who help themselves.. |

Thanks a lot for your reply.
No there is no issues with the env var, because using same settings other things are working fine, and we have generic client utility.
One more infor...
In the TAB file even after creating the CLNT channel i can see "d" char , I believe it stands for "delete" - please correct me if i m wrong.
Hence, even after recreating the channel also the TAB file is not getting effected properly.
Where as I saw 't' char in the TAB file in case of good working CLNT channel

make sure you use a qmgr to maintain the channel table.
You may create a dummy qmgr specifically for that.
Maintain the channel table using runmqsc.
End of story... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
