Hi,

I am having a problem with a broker flow that essentially comprises of an MQInput node followed by a compute node. The compute node performs a datab se insert (using passthru) to insert data retrieved by the MQInput node. What we are seeing is that the tx that is started by the MQInput node does not appear to get commited and therefore we see long running transactions in the Qmgr logs and eventually the Qmgr gets into difficulties.

The MQInput node has 'transaction mode =yes'.

The compute node has 'Transaction = automatic'

Is there something else that needs to be set/done in order to commit unit of work once the compute node finishes ?

The broker flowe that uses a compute node to perform the database insert does appear to be working ok and committing messages correctly. Has anyone seen any problems with talking to Oracle when the user data space allocated has filled up and so no more inserts are possible. Maybe there is an issue with tyhe odbc driver when communicating with a full database.

Has anyone else seen any problems with uncommited messages being left on MQ Q's when using a flow that inserts into a database that has no spaced left on it ?
