I have some doubts regarding MQ client. I read the client redbook but still I could not get an answer.

Is the software included in the server ( which we can choose the installable component while installing) different from bundled as client?

Does not client the client component require a update or is it the same we apply to client too? The red book does not talk about updating the client.

Personally, I always install from the same image choosing what I need in a particular box ( I know server isntallation requries license) and apply the same fix pack.

It's the same client software, it needs the same updates, and uses the same updates.
