Using MQ 6.0 , I disabled the ID MQ_MQADMIN in my local system where MQ is installed (WINDOWS). Restarted MQ and the Queue manager are starting but are disconnected. So, I enabled the user back again and restarted the service again. When I use the runmqlsr QM, getting error not authorised. Any help in getting this issue resolved (QM connected) or any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Restart the machine.

Oh, and... Don't do disable that user again.

And if you changed the passwd on that user rerun the configuration wizard again.
It will take care of the dcom part...

Enjoy

Tried rebooting the machine. when I tired that the servers and QM started up fine and were up. However, in the MQ services the listeners were in stopped state and the start button on them was greyed out. Tried to restart the lisner through command prompt. It said started but in console it was stopped. The customer was not able to connect so I stopped all the QM and restarted the MQ service again. Got error "not authorised" and the server in Event log is giving RPC errors for not being able to connect.

Also, stopped the MQ services and then reset put that password in the identity tab for the Dcom object for IBM MQ. Its not working.

Here are the log details:

Have you rerun the configuration wizard as suggested?
