Hi All,

A friend of mine is looking for the above, any help or pointers? They have 5.3.0 because they have a 3rd party vendor application.

They need to push back on the third party vendor to support a current version of MQ.

Or take the time and effort to upgrade the third party software to a version that supports a supported and current version of MQ.

And your friend must not have looked very hard, at least around this board.

Because of logistical reasons they can't pust the vendor as the application was written in WBISF and they are in the process of upgrading but it will only happen in mid 2008 also they found an exit but it said 5.3.1. In the meantime they want to roll out the application before the upgrade so they need some sort of channel security for their client.

WBISF should still support later releases of MQ than v5.3.0.

Isn't 5.3.1 supported until April 08? i.e. Mainframe ...?

Hi,

Tell your friend to have a look at: MQ Authenticate User Security Exit or MQ Standard Security Exit
