I am using two gateway/broker qmgrs and everything running with one single group cluster.
Also we are having two brokers which is inserting the > 5M message per day.
If want to do the capacity planning for the above environment what are the points i need to consider?
Is there any document to calculate broker capacity for eg:2cpu ?
TIA

Capacity of a particular piece of hardware to run a given volume of messages depends entirely on everything you have done to configure the software that runs on that hardware.
In the case of message broker, this includes how you have written your flows, how you have configured your qmgrs, and how you have configured your databases.
Your best bet is to stress test against a system that mirrors production, and measure the capacity yourself, and profile the code to find out where it bottlenecks. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
