When I opened a Toolkit workspace today all the message flow projects had the error message:
Quote: |
Project 'xxx' (or of its referenced projects [sic]) is inconsistent and must be rebuilt
|
Unfortunately however rebuilding did not resolve the problem. Fortunately the backups were up to date and when the projects were reloaded from CVS the errors were no longer present.
A bit of a worry though ... I have never seen this error previously and it seemed to make the message flows unusable and unrepairable! There was nothing to indicate what was wrong with the flows, and I had made no changes to the environment since last using the Toolkit.
Has anyone else come across this situation or know what might cause it? |

Nothing happens without a reason...
if there wasn't any change done the previous day then you can probably challenge newton's first law of motion (law of innertia)
now that by importing the flows from cvs, we can not even recreate the problem....
so next time u may want to try out different options to find the real cause
PS : Hoping that u r on latest fixes of toolkit _________________ Cheers |

I have seen the workspace get corrupted and if I shifted to a new workspace the problems used to get resolved. _________________ Shalabh

Sometimes bad things happen to good people.
I've fixed this sort of thing with a "-clean" but it's not happened since I applied the last maintenance.
And Newton's 1st law may apply, but sometimes the change is so subtle (or so Windoze) it's easier to shrug and move on. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
