Hi All,

Can someone please tell me how to get just the closing tag i.e i want to have only </notag> in the output.

</noTag> is not an XML document. Use the BLOB domain.

As kimbert said '</noTag>' is NOT xml document. It would be <noTag/> ( if there no value ).

So, if you code 'CREATE FIELD OutputRoot.XMLNS.out.notag;' then you will observe output as '<out><notag/></out>'.
