What do you see in your Event Logs? Do you see anything in your broker system logs? |

A time out generally mean that your broker is not responding in time. So there should be something wrong with your broker, may be its busy trying to process your previous deployment messages.
How about trying to clean up the broker queues and restarting the broker.

Do you mean, you were able to deploy the flows using toolkit although its taking longtime? |

Hi
The following are the latest things that i have done
I created the broker on windows node and configured to use
This is working and and i can deploy flows or Bar files to this Broker successfully.
But i am not in a position to deploy and see anything on AIX brokers,
both mqsideploy and toolkit are not responding, and not even giving error messages,
in mqsideploy i used -w option.
is it due to the version difference, left out option is clearing up all queues on Broker side and try out.
Plz let me know your suggestions too.
Regards

My best guess is that you have security issues.
Your toolkit and broker are running with different user ids and may be the userid you are using to lanuch the toolkit doesn't have enough permissions (for deploying..) on the broker? |

Hi
I have tested the sdr and recvr channels between Config and broker and the messages are flowing properly well.
So i dont think that its a Security issue.
Yes i can register the broker with configmgr, i can see the broker and exectution grp from the tool kit too.
But BAR files are not getting reflected and am not getting errors too.

So you initiate a deploy from the Toolkit, and you get back a valid response from the ConfigMgr, that it received the deployment request...?
And you don't see any messages piling up on the ConfigMgr qmgr, and you don't see any messages piling up on the Broker qmgr?
And the channels between broker and ConfigMgr are running fine?
And nothing is logged in Broker system log and nothing in ConfigMgr system log?
If all answers are "Yes", then open a PMR. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

You can find out if the ConfigMgr is trying to do the deploy by stopping the channels TO broker qmgr.
You can find out if Broker is trying to respond by stopping channels in the other direction.
Or you can open a PMR with Support and work with them to do the service trace that is likely necessary to find out what's going wrong. Or have them tell you which step you've missed.
It's not clear from here... _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Hi
I did as you said jeff,
at first i stopped only the config mgr sdr channels, i can see the msgs lying on the transmit queue,
Second i stopped the broker qmgr sde channels, here i didnt see the msgs lying on the transmit queue
i think the reply is not coming from the broker side.
Regards

When i issued mqsistop brk
BIP8019E: Component stopped.
A previous command was issued to stop this component or it has never been started.
This component may be started, changed or deleted.
When i started
mqsistar brk
WebSphere MQ queue manager running.
BIP8096I: Successful command initiation, check the system log to ensure that the component started without problem and that it continues to run without problem.
When i did mqsilist brk
BIP8029E: The broker's configuration is not yet deployed.
This command results in an internal configuration message to the broker, this message may only be sent after at least one deployment to the broker from the Message Brokers Toolkit.
Reissue the command after the broker's configuration has been deployed.
Do i need to re-install this
