Hi,

I want to add As400 queue manager on my MQ Explorer under show and hide QM.

As per As400 admin I have access to the QM, when i try to add the queue manager i get following error.
Quote:
The attempt to connect to the queue manager failed. This could be because the queue manager is incorrectly configured to allow a connection from this system, or the connection has been broken.

Is it possible to add the QM directly under explorer or do i have to do some setting?

Thanks
Jen

Can you establish any kind of client connection, for example using amqscnxc?

You would have to use RFHUtilC.

And provide enough information for a client connection.

Is that the right port#? Is the port open?

Does your MQ Admin say that the SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN channel exists?

And if the AS400 QM was created pre-V6, you'll have to define the correct MODEL queue.

Cheers,

Yes he say he has created the channel and gave public access on that channel.

Then the port isn't open, or the listener isn't running.
