Hi all,
Can i use both websphere MQv6.0 and MQv5.3 on different boxes of As/400 or iseries and communicate with each other? If yes, is there any documentation available?

What have other people done, when faced with this same situation?
What other answers have other people gotten, to this same question?
Where would the documentation be, if there was any?

i was just asking is there any documentation available from IBM? We would like to try this out. We havn't implemented yet. We got this question raised in the discussion. I tried to search in google as well as in ibm.com. I didnot find any. Thats the reason why i posted here.

| Yes, you can have MQ v53 communicate with v6 across multiple platform types (iSeries, z/OS, Windows, UNIX). How to set up the communications channels (and objects required) is described in detail in the MQ Intercommunications manual. |
