Hi,
I am using WMQI v2.1 with CSD2 on windows 2000. I have created the default configMgr and a broker, i got this BIP1533E error when trying to create another broker.
Appreciate your help.
Thanks
Ryan
BIP1533E: Unable to deploy configuration data: unknown MQSeries queue manager MA99 associated with broker MA99_BK.
An attempt was made to deploy configuration data to one or more brokers. The MQSeries queue manager MA99 associated with broker MA99_BK is not known to the Configuration Manager's MQSeries queue manager. The deploy operation was not performed.
Check that the name of the queue manager is spelled correctly. Note that MQSeries queue manager names are case-sensitive. If the spelling is correct, make sure that either a queue manager alias definition for queue manager MA99, or a transmission queue called MA99, is defined to the Configuration Manager's queue manager. For more information on this error see the MQSeries Application Programming Reference manual, code 2087. |

Sounds like your using a separate broker for the Config Manager and the Broker which is fine, however you havent set up the channels between the two. |

and do not forget to create the transmission queue that has the same name as the queue you are going to. |

I think when Michael stated:

he meant:

So, if you're connecting QMGRA to QMGRB, then on the QMGRA queue manager there should be a transmission queue defined as QMGRB. |
