Has anybody been able to get a message larger than 4mb off a queue

I am using MQ 6.0 and am trying to get a message larger that 4mb
from MQ using .NET classes (The queues are setup to handle 40 mb)

I have tried setting connectionProperties MQIA_MAX_MSG_LENGTH and MQIACH_MAX_MSG_LENGTH and passing it to the MQQueueManager

as well as trying to pass 41943040 (40 mb) in the queue.get

in any case I consistantly get 2010 error MQRC_DATA_LENGTH_ERROR

Remember that the default client chl is limited to 4 MB. If you want to go above you need to use a chl table where both ends: client chl and svrconn chl have been defined with more than 4 MB.

Enjoy
