Hello all,
I have installed a QManager QMN_TEP1 on Cluster VMS server with IP on port 1414 (2 VMS servers are on hub with cluster configuration but just one qmanager running and to access it I used his IP with port 1414). It's run fine but it's impossible to monitoring with MQ EXPLORER.
I have other qmanagers without VMS cluster on other VMS server (but direct access, no hub) and monitoring work fine with MQ EXPLORER.
Description of my MQ QManager server :
Name : QMN.TEP1
connexion channel : TGV.SYS.ADM.SVRCONN
Connexion name : SERV1(1414)
Listener and qmanager are running
Client with MQ Explorer V6 run on Windows 2003
When I ping a channel sender (BRKP_VGD.QMN.TEP1) I have error AMQ9520

Mr Google thinks that error indicates the client connection's having a spot of bother with the IP address supplied by the cluster.
Is the server side MQ v6 as well? Maintained to date? And are you sure the cluster is properly exposing the IP address? You might want to test what happens if you supply the real address of the queue manager rather than the clustered one, see if that helps. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

On VMS cluster servers, It's Websphere MQ V5.3 was installed.
When I ping SERV1 (VMS server running with QManager QMN_TEP1), It's ok and I can connect me on this server by telnet.
I try to replace Connexion name by real IP address on MQ Explorer and It don't work...
