Has anyone successfully configured the new MQ 6.0.2.1 JCA-Compliant Resource Adapter as the JMS Provider for MDBs in JBoss 4.2?

I have successfully installed the adapter and run the Verification Tool supplied with the MQ adapter (but this only verifies use of outbound communications with the adapter - not inbound required for MDB support).

I appreciate help from those who have gone before me on this.

Mark, I am having trouble with JBoss also but according to IBM, MQ and JBoss is not a supported configuration. If you manage to get it working please post the solution.

Well, IBM should probably read their own Support Statement on the JCA support in 6.0.2.1. It clearly says that it was tested on JBoss App Server v4.0.4 & v4.0.5. Here is the link to their support statement:

http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27009524

I found this link on the JBoss wiki most helpful in solving my problems:

http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=IntegrationWithWebSphereMQSeries

The trick for me that I missed the first time I read this link was the <resource-adapter-name> element that was needed in the jboss.xml.

What exactly are you having problems with? Maybe I can share a solution that I ran into for that.
