Hi All,
We are planning to change our existing process flow and import into runtime.
We are planning to do the following:
1. Do the changes in the process flow.
2. Let the existing workitems for the changing process flow to end or force finish/terminate the ones which are not required.
3. Now we have a enviornmnt does not have any active workitems for the process flow that i m changing.
4. Now import the changes into the runtime.
Do let me know if this is OK or is there anything else that I habe to take care of.
Thanks & Regards,
Pats....

I am not sure I understand completely.
But if you do as you say, as long as you know you have to start the new Process from the beginning, I do not see any problems. _________________ John McDonald

You need not wait till all the old processes finish to import your new process flow.
Only newly created workitmes will follow this new flow and the older ones will continue in the old path, so you can update the process flow into runtime even if there are some old workitems _________________ Srisudhir Tadepalli |

As tsrisudh said, only the workitems created after you import the fdl of your process in runtime can view the changes.
Take care if you remove the old workitems from runtime. You must develop an application using the api to perform this. _________________ #10 |
