I'm getting the following problem when trying to display a channel status

dis chs(CHANNEL1)
1 : dis chs(CHANNEL1)
08/22/07 18:36:16 AMQ9604: Channel 'CHANNEL1' terminated unexpectedly

AMQ8417: Display Channel Status details.
CHANNEL(CHANNEL1) XMITQ(XMITQ1)
CONNAME(198.235.206.202(4110)) CURRENT
CHLTYPE(SDR) STATUS(STOPPING)
RQMNAME(EURQ2)

The AMQ9604 shows the channel has terminated unexpectedly but the STATUS(STOPPING) is displayed

Force stop it and once the status is stopped you can restart it.
Don't forget to look into the logs. There might be a cause there.
