Hello,
We are in the process of migrating from v2.1 to v6.0. When creating EGs and dedploying msg flows to them, we found that when deploy fails, the Config Mgr repository gets out-of-sync with respect to the configuration on the Broker. From this point on, we keep getting a BIP1536S (which states that Config Mgr repository is out-of-sync with respect to Broker).
Has anyone encountered this - and if yes, what is the fix/work around?

Hi,
This message doesn't necessarily mean that the CM repository is out of sync with the broker; it just means that the CM attempted to register for internal subscriptions with the broker's pub/sub engine, and this operation failed.
This means that broker status messages (e.g. start/stop) will not get published to the CM, and so it may not report the correct run state, or the correct list of active subscribers.
Is there anything in the broker's event log that gives you more information? Also, ensure that you're up to date on fixpacks etc. Finally, a quick search of this forum may reveal some other advice; ISTR this has come up previously. |
