How to read a file in Message Broker without using any Jtext Adapter or File Extender , Are there any other options for reading files from Message Broker that we get from a queue....!
We have a Flat file with legacy data coming into a particular server.
The requirement is we need to pass the flat file data to Message Broker. We
don't have an option of having/using a JText Adapter.
Is there a way by which I can write a process (file to queue) to load the
data into the MQ queue so that MB can pick it up and process it? _________________ G.VANDANA |

The option is to create a message set and parse the entire file, then using ESQL propagate the records.

You can buy the File Extender for WBIMB v5 or WMB v6.
You can buy the JText adapter.
You can buy PM4Data.
You can buy the CapitalWare Batch Toolkit and write some wrappers to trigger it when files appear.
You can spend more money than any of those options writing your own code to read a file in a manner appropriate for an enterprise solution. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
