Hi,
I'm planning to migrate MQ5.3 cluster on AIX(about 8 servers). To avoid application outage we are migrating half of the servers first with 1 FR included then the other half at a later date. Are there any issues of having one 5.3 FR and another 6.0 FR in the same cluster? Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

We've talked about approaches to migration before... it may be helpful for you to review.

I tend to prefer to migrate FRs before everything else.

Thanks Jeff. Due to the current layout of the apps the current FRs cannot be migrated in the same window. What we'll do is promote one of the members of the first batch to be another FR and demote the FR from the other batch to PR. That way all FRs will be migrated first.
