Hi All,
We have 7 QM's WBIQM,QM1 to QM6 cluster together, QM1 and QM3 are FR. We have created Cluster local queue Q1 in all queue managers except in WBIQM.
Then we have decided to keep the Cluster Local queue Q1 only in QM1 and QM2 and rest we blank out the Local queue cluster property. So Q1 is not a Cluster queue in QM3 to QM6.Now,we are expecting, whenever WBI application puts messages to Cluster Local queue, the messages should be in Q1 of QM1 and QM2 only.
The problem is somehow the messages are routed to QM5 and QM6.
What am I missing here?Any suggestion. _________________ Bravo |

6 QMGRS--cluster QM1 & QM3 are FR.
But same Clus Q1 is only in QM1 & QM3.But u seeing same message coming in QM5 & QM6 ...where in QM5 & QM6.
Since Q1 Q is part of ur cluster..u can c that q from any cluster QMGR ie QM1 to QM6.But physically message sits in either QM1 or QM2 Q, depends on how u mange load balancing...
Can u do a DIS CLUSQMGR(*) ALL and check how u did the set up for cluster SDR chls to FR.
DIS CHL(*) CHLTYPE(CLUSSDR) ALL _________________ Jain Varghese |

If the apps that are writing messages to Q1 are using Bind On Open, and they started writing to QM5 before you removed Q1/QM5 from the cluster, then they will still be writing to Q1/QM5 until you get them to close that queue and reopen it. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

or the putting apps are specifically asking for the destination QM to be QM5 or QM6, regardless of the Bind On Open option.
or your cluster is not communication 100% between all nodes and the sending QM has not been notified by the FRs that the q on QM5 and 6 is no longer clustered. _________________ Peter Potkay

Finally what happens if the putting app reside on QM5 or QM6?
