Hi all,
It seems that version 4.5 on GNU/Linux doesn't work with GLIBC version 2.2.
Unfortunately version 4.3 doesn't handle individual messages.
However, there's a version 4.4 from late 2005.
Is version 4.4 still available somewhere for download or is there another way to deal with this?
thanks

I've contacted Paul Clarke regarding this matter.
He probably doesn't have the 4.4 binaries or a Linux box with GLIBC 2.2 to build new ones.
If anybody still have the release, I would very much appreciate it.
best regards |

Note that I wrote the wrong version at first. It's version 4.4 I'm after. |

Maybe you should consider a different tool.
Or run the client version of Paul's tool on a different machine. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Thanks for all your input.
The problem is that q client version can't be used since it depends on a library that isn't installed - libmqic.so.
Sorry about my really strict requirements but the environment I'm working in is very VERY restricted.
RogerLacroix:
Unfortunately the v4.4 release of ma01 only contains the v4.3 of the Linux executable.
My solution now is a simple shell script that extracts all the message id's and then reads the messages by message id and put them in separate files.
Recommendations on other Linux tools that extract message by message is very welcome. |
