We are using MQ Client 5.2 in our client machine and we are planning to have a .NET application connect to MQ server from this machine. This current MQ client 5.2 we are using is not having MQ classes for .NET.
Can some one please let me know is there any support pack for MQ classes for .NET for MQ client 5.2?

P.S: We are also not in position to go for upgrade to higher version as it is going to be for just one interface.

Thank you

Regards,
Thanigs

Why not? The client is a fairly simple upgrade and there's wide compatability for the client between all queue managers v5.3 & v6.

If of course you're using the v5.2 client to match your v5.2 queue manager - you should certainly upgrade, and not just for .NET support. The v5.2 code is way out of support.

But since its only one interface our budget imposes restriction on going for upgrade. We are looking to utilize any compatible support pack if available

The v5.3 client is free, and therefore fits most budgets.

Not upgrading the queue manager from v5.2 is false economy.

I've not heard of .NET support being retrofitted into v5.2, which is not to say it hasn't been. IIRC v5.2 predates .NET itself.

Now why would you think 5.2 to have ever been enhanced for .NET support as .NET came around AFTER 5.2 went out of support IIRC
