Hello,

For a given project I have a need to use the publish/subscribe mechanism on an iSeries400 machine having V5R3 installed.

I am not an iSeries guy and at the moment I cannot find information telling me if the publish/subscribe mechanism is supported with MQ on iSeries 400 (I have been told that not, but I have some doubts

).

If you have at least CSD 08, it is included with the basic product on version 5.3. However, the pub/sub manual does not mention iSeries in their list of platforms. I would just try a "dspmqbrk" command and see if that exists. Although, this command may be different on iSeries, like the other MQ commands, so you may have to check with IBM on this.
