We are supporting an application which has IBM MQ Workflow. Currently we are working on a request to move the authentication to an external system, which we addressed through "Authentication Exit". Now we need to add a corporate user ID as an Admin to the workflow. Based on our understanding there can be only ADMIN to the workflow system.
If this is true then how to add a corporate user ID as ADMIN to the workflow systems? Is this possible? How normally other system works.

What you are saying is correct. There can only be a single user in the system with the Role "System Administrator". HOWEVER, there is nothing to stop you from adding additional users who have almost all of the power of the system administrator. Simply add a user and on the authorization tab give them all authorizations (via checkbox) and give them Access to workitems of All users, and Admin access to All categories.
