hi -
We're interfacing a multithreaded C++ program with MQ 6.0. Thousands of essages are being dequeued, and about 15 times a day an FDC report is issued with the comment "Received a NULL request from message manager".

Has anyone encountered this problem and been able to determine the source?

Make sure you're on the latest fix pack for MQ v6.

Search the forum and Google for the probe id in the FDC.

If that doesn't get you anyplace post the file header in here and/or use the FDC to raise a PMR.

Thanks for the prompt response. Our MQ is up to date, but our XMS package is not. I'll apply the upgrade and see if that helps. I'm not finding anything in forums or Google on the Probe Ids in the FDC files.
