I seem to remember telling you to search in my old posts and on redbooks for "JMS Topology".
Did you do it. What did you learn from reading it? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Hi Saper,
I have gone through it and couldn't find anything near to what i am requesting viz. configuring listener ports, sessions and other related properties of mdb's inside jBoss.
It seems that jBoss doesn't provide adequate docs.I really don't understand why people use such free products that doesn't have proper docs to play with system. |

I think an important word there is "free".
Also open source tends to replace docs with resources such as this. I've no idea, but would have thought there's be a "jBoss.net" or something like out there someplace..... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Well the first thing to understand from that documentation is the number of available channels you will need. This is described in the topology.
Now you need to make sure the MQServer / qmgr can handle that many channels. Remember what the default is from the infocenter and how to change it.
This makes no difference whether the app server is JBoss or WAS....

There appears to be a full set of docs on the jboss website that includes all the information on how to configure the jboss app server with the information that brgmo wants. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
