We had a server connection alerts coming out every day... so we decide to increase values of these two parameters. Do anyone know the maximum value of them?

Large numbers of 9s IIRC.

You probably don't want to set them that high unless you have lots of memory.

I'd be more inclinded to wonder why you keep getting alerts before changing the limits.

The actual limit is in the command manual I think. There's also some white papers on tuning & so forth that might be of value.

Thanks Vitor... We set to 300 and all alerts are gone.

We believed that there may be a coding issue in app. But it's hard to change it in production servers...
