Is your configmgr started without any error? Also check system event log.

in spite of this , there is no syslogs/event logs

The steps which i followed was:

1) I've created a qmgr, broker and confirmgr on AIX server.

2) Then specified the port of the listener of created qmgr on AIX server.

3) Then, tried to connect to the configmgr of AIX from windows XP machine.

now while creating domain connection I am getting error that "not able to connect to config mgr.

I have applied the toolkit fixpack _0004i too on toolkit for windows.

Akanksha, I id which i am using on windows machine for toolkit is db2admin which is a part of mqm/mqmbrkr group of windows machine.

the same id have been created and added to particular group on AIX server too.

I ve run the setmqaut command too.

If there's nothing in the system log and you're sure the Config Manager is running, the chances are you've mistyped the connection parameters from the CMP Exerciser.

What is your broker level on AIX? Try updating to latest fix level if you haven't done already.

If are the steps followed by you are correct then there might be network issue.
Make sure that your local windows machine and AIX box are in same networks and free from firewalls and having static I.Ps
why dont you install configManager on your windows machine and then try to connect to broker on AIX using MQseries channels?

You did not run mqsicreateaclentry on AIX. Your user id is being passed with the windows domain.... and as such does not match the user id in aix...

Enjoy

The use of mqsicreateaclentry on AIX finally resolved the issue.

Thanks to all of you !!
