Hi,
Are there any utils(or suggestions) on how to performance/soak test new hardware running MQ and a broker?
For example to create hundreds of SVRCONN connections?
How could I create spikes in CPU/memory usage?
I dont see much in the support packs available.
Or CapitalWare's batch toolkit, or even VisualEdit.
Or the JMS Performance Test tool available from alphaworks. Or the appropriate modules in Mercury LoadRunner or whatever other professional testing tool you have.
Or about "a whole bunch" of other tools. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.

MQExerciser can put one message to a queue multiple times with timer interval between puts. It can also build messages from files in a folder and put them to a queue with timer interval. See www.mqexerciser.com for to download a free copy. _________________ Dean Keister
