We are using ACF2 as ESM.
I have two questions:
1. If we enable connection security for batch and CICS connections (by creating their profiles), is it possible to only enable security check on specific batch and CICS appliction ids and ignore others?
2. We want to secure only specific queues and leave other queues from security check. If we enable queue security, do we need to create profile for every queue? In other words will every queue has an impact?
You can use access control masking to define one level of access for a specific application or queue, and another (more general) for the rest.
You can't really turn it off and on at the same time, but defining a "catch-all" profile (rule in ACF2 terms) with liberal access rights will achieve the desired aim.
