Hi there,
I am an experienced MQSeries / Middleware professional with over 7 years hands on experience, in the Telecoms, manufacturing and banking industries. I have and continue to support the Dev, UAT & Prod environments in the companies where I have worked and where I am currently working. Where for the production environments I am on-call and am responsible for maintaining the companies 24*7 systems where any / all downtime means losses to the business.
I have worked with all versions for MQ from v2 right through to v6 including the upgrade and installs of each. I am at home supporting MQ on any of the following platforms, Windows(NT, 2000, XP, 2003), Unix (Solaris, AIX & HP-UX), Linux (Redhat, SuSe), VMS, and Tandem (Guardian S-Series). Including clustering from an OS/hardware point of view and of course MQ / Qmgr clustering.
I am looking for a position in Ireland ideally, but I have worked in other countries.
