Hi,
My Flow is deployed on Solaris 5. 8 box.
in ESQL I am trying to write the CRLF character to the output message.

ESQL is as follows:

case 1:
SET strCRLF = CAST(X'0D0A' AS CHARACTER CCSID InputRoot.Properties.CodedCharSetId ENCODING InputRoot.Properties.Encoding);

case2:
SET strLF = CAST(X'0A' AS CHARACTER CCSID InputRoot.Properties.CodedCharSetId ENCODING InputRoot.Properties.Encoding);

Both the cases are failing.

Please help me.

You have to ensure that you are casting Blob/Bitstream format as character.

Only that is permissible. Coz you cant cast XML/MRM messages directly as Character.
