I am having a problem with messages erroring out as soon as they hit the input queue of my message flow. The error it is giving is:

parameter 1 = 28000parameter 2 = 1017parameter 3 = [DataDirect][ODBC Oracle driver][Oracle]ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

The ODBC connection has been changed and the data source in the flow has been changed to reflect the change in ODBC connection.

A new message flow has been created in the same execution group which just tests the ODBC connection and this flow works successfully.

I wanted to see if anyone has any ideas of what may be wrong?

Thanks!

Try the mqsisetdbparms

Whats the difference in this flow and the one where ur getting the error ? If this flow works, then any flow in the same broker, using the same datasource name should also work...

Regards.

HI! I agree.

The difference is a lot of data transformations and six route to labels.

I just commented out the call to the database in the flow that's causing the error and it works... ??

I don't know what else to try now. Any suggestions?

If you use mqsisetdbparams and the user name and password are still trouble, look for a tool to help exercise odbc.ini.

isql or Open ODBC have tools that will exercise your configuration but won't troubleshoot values that MQSI manages. isql will allow you to test the odbc stanza that are in your config file though.
