hi,

is it possible to have two WMB versions on the same pc?
mq 5.3 + wmb 5.1 and mq 6.0 + wmb 6.0?

AFAIK you can have WMB 5 & 6 on the same machine; there are some documents on how to achieve this & migration from 5->6.

I don't believe it's possible to have 2 different levels of WMQ on the same box.

It's not possible to have two levels of WMQ on any machine other than z/OS, without quite a bit of pointless-in-the-end wankery.

It's easy to have two levels of WBIMB/WMB on a machine, as long as one of those levels is v6. That is, it's hard to have MQSI/WMQI v2.1 share a machine with WBIMB v5 - but easy to share a machine with WMB v6 and either of the other two versions.
