Hi
I have put
convert = enable
Convert encoding = 819
Convert coded character set id =1208
on the input node property in simple message flow where I am converting cobol cpy book message to xml message. V 6 Broker AIX. AS400 MQ server is sending this message,
I have already tested and confirmed the message converting from EBCID to ascii and broker processing this message successfully, but if I test same message after 1 or 2 days it goes to the failure queue and it shows me EBCDIC message again. And after resetting the properties message goes successfully to broker.
Any comments on this why this is happening.
Thanks

Because maybe sometimes the message isn't MQFMT_STRING. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Do you mean "MQSTR" or the value of MQFMT_STRING, which is "MQSTR "? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

That's both of us then....
My point was are you certain the litteral matches the supplied one? It's 8 characters long and "MQSTR" will not work on a UNIX box when "MQSTR " will. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
